Nigeria appears to be experiencing a daily increase in the number of coronavirus, COVID-19 cases.
In its latest update, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC confirmed 20 additional cases of the deadly COVID-19 in the country.
The center, in its official Twitter page, said that 13 of the cases were confirmed in Lagos, four cases were confirmed in Abuja, two cases in Kaduna, bringing the total in the state to 3 while 1 case was confirmed in Oyo State, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 8.
“As at 09:00pm, 30th March, there were 131 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria with 2 death” the center said.
Lagos still sits at the top with a total of 81 confirmed cases followed by the FCT with 25 confirmed cases and Oyo with 8 confirmed cases.
