Covid-19: ADIRM rolls out job template for ad hoc staff
In furtherance to its bid to help fight the rampaging COVID-19, the African Development Institute and Research Methodology, ADIRM, has rolled out job template for its ad hoc staff.
Recall that the Institute had recruited and trained 150 individuals to serve as emergency response team and to help educate members of the public on how to protect themselves from contracting the disease.
While rolling out the job template, the Director of the institute, Professor Ike Oluka, directed the ad hoc staff, who have already moved to the field for sensitization and data gathering, to always report to their zonal supervisors.
Among the duties rolled out for the team were, sensitization and creation of awareness of Coronavirus, sharing of Information, Education and Communication,IEC materials meant for preventing the disease, in churches, markets, health facilities, Igwe’s palaces and social centres.
Others include, monitoring community awareness and ascertaining the level of compliance to government directives on the prevention of the pandemic, reporting suspected cases to relevant authorities and serving as information source to the community on Covid-19.
Oluka explained that those recruited for the exercise were holders of university first degree certificates or its equivalent in any field of study, who must have completed their NYSC scheme.
