The Nigerian Center for Disease Control, NCDC has again confirmed an increase in the number of Coronavirus, COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.
In its daily updates on Wednesday, the NCDC said that 22 new cases of the deadly COVID-19 were reported.
According to the center, 15 of the cases were confirmed in Lagos, 4 in the FCT, 2 in Bauchi and 1 in Edo. The latest increase brings the total number of confirmed cases so far to 276.
As at 09:00 pm 8th April, there were 276 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Forty-four have been discharged with six deaths” the center said in its official Twitter page.
A breakdown of the cases shows that Lagos now has 145, FCT-54, Osun-20, Oyo- 11, Akwa Ibom- 5, Ogun- 4, Edo- 12, Kaduna- 5, Bauchi- 8, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2, Rivers- 2, Benue- 1, Ondo- 1, Kwara-2, Delta- 1, Katsina- 1.
