The Nigerian Center for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed an increase in the number of Coronavirus, COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.
In its daily updates on Sunday, the NCDC said that 5 new cases of the deadly COVID-19 were reported.
According to the center, 2 of the cases were confirmed in Lagos, 2 in Kwara and 1 in Katsina. The latest increase brings the total number of confirmed cases so far to 323.
As at 09:10 pm 12th April, there were 323 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Eighty-five have been discharged with 10 deaths” the center said in its official Twitter page.
A breakdown of the cases shows that Lagos now has 176, FCT-56, Osun-20, Oyo- 11, Akwa Ibom- 5, Ogun- 7, Edo- 12, Kaduna- 6, Bauchi- 6, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2, Rivers- 2, Benue- 1, Ondo- 2, Kwara-4, Delta- 3, Katsina- 5, Niger- 1, Anambra- 1.
