The Nigerian Center for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed another increase in the number of Coronavirus, COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.
In its daily updates on Monday, the NCDC said that 20 new cases of the deadly COVID-19 were reported.
According to the center, 13 of the cases were confirmed in Lagos, 2 in Edo, 2 in Kano, 2 in Ogun and 1 in Ondo. The latest increase brings the total number of confirmed cases so far to 343.
As at 09:50 pm 13th April, there were 343 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. 91 have been discharged with 10 deaths” the center said in its official Twitter page.
A breakdown of the cases shows that Lagos now has 189, FCT-56, Osun-20, Oyo- 11, Akwa Ibom- 5, Ogun- 9, Edo- 14, Kaduna- 6, Bauchi- 6, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2, Rivers- 2, Benue- 1, Ondo- 3, Kwara-4, Delta- 3, Kano- 3, Katsina- 5, Niger- 1, Anambra- 1.
