The Nigerian Center for Disease Control, NCDC has again confirmed an increase in the number of Coronavirus, COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.
In its daily updates on Friday, the NCDC said that 17 new cases of the deadly COVID-19 were reported.
According to the center, 8 of the cases were confirmed in Lagos, 3 in Katsina, 2 in the FCT, 1 in Niger, 1 in Kaduna, 1 Anambra and 1 in Ondo. The latest increase brings the total number of confirmed cases so far to 305.
As at 09:30 pm 10th April, there were 305 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Fifty-eight have been discharged with seven deaths” the center said in its official Twitter page.
A breakdown of the cases shows that Lagos now has 163, FCT-56, Osun-20, Oyo- 12, Akwa Ibom- 5, Ogun- 7, Edo- 12, Kaduna- 6, Bauchi- 6, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2, Rivers- 2, Benue- 1, Ondo- 2, Kwara-2, Delta- 2, Katsina- 4, Niger- 1, Anambra- 1.
Niger and Anambra states just recorded their first cases.
