Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Research
Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Research
Entrepreneurship and enterprise research groups undertake research and studies that unearth the nature and determine the magnitude and underlying causes of organisational and human management deficiencies in Africa in general. We undertake research investigation that highlights the nature and causes of bourgeoning human resources unemployment, especially among the youth and women.
The research group also carries out studies that interrogate extant theories and models of human and organisational development in search of adaptable and home-grown models to underpin African development. Our aim is to become a focal point that uses knowledge-based research on SME growth and entrepreneurship. ADIRM brings the evidence base on SMEs, drives out new research insights and works with policymakers and practitioners to ensure research shapes better policies and practices to help SMEs grow.
