This project explores opportunities to increase the percentage of women in Senior leadership positions in the Nigerian Higher Education system focusing on Equity, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EEDI) framework. This project was funded by British Council - Gender Equality Partnership Programme. The project is a partnership between University of Lincoln, Lincoln, UK; ADIRM, Nigeria; and Office of Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU), Abuja, and selected Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education between 2023 – 2024.
This project focuses on advancing employability skills, entrepreneurship competencies and digital innovation and capability to start new ventures through training of graduates and postgraduates. This project is part of British Council – Innovation for African Universities (IAU) programme. The IE4HE is partnership between University of Lincoln, UK, Coal City University, Enugu, Nigeria and ADIRM, Enugu, Nigeria between 2021 and 2023. IAU Programme is managed by the Centre of Excellence (CoE) comprising the ChangeSchool, City University of London, and University of Nairobi, Kenya.
This project evaluates community initiatives and local practices of climate change adaptation and mitigation in the Estern Nigeria. Although climate change adaptation and mitigation are big issues on the global agenda, engagement with local communities and assessing the effects of climate change is often neglected.
